Hope everyone saw that the GBP/JPY went short this week. If you are following the 4 hour breakout you could have gone to TP3 and made about 200 pips. Also I have been looking at the 1H charts as an alternative tot trading the 4H and it also made about 200 pips today. Alright everybody, this has already been a good day, I set up my normal 4H system parameters, 20 pip buffer, etc… I got a nice 80 pips this morning and I am observing a master candle on the GBP/JPY 1H chart. Due to some advice from friends I will no longer trade the 4H breakout using moving averages. I will instead use support resistance levels since they are more accurate and a lot better at predicting if the trend is going to go long or stop. I will soon update the 4H breakout page to reflect these changes.

Hey everybody this past week I was looking at moving averages on the 4H charts to better give me a view of trades and how the pair was trending. I put the same Exponential Moving Averages I have on the 15min breakout and they seem to work pretty good. Its a ncie way to see if the market is really reversing when it breaks another line.
