About Me
I am a 22 year old college student majoring in Political Science and Economics. I will be graduating in 2011, in the great state of Texas.
My Introduction to Forex
I really don’t know how exactly I ended up trading Forex, I accidentally stumbled upon it one day while reading about the stock market but was just hooked on it the first day.
I have been trading Forex since early 2007, when I started trading with these so called robots that could make me millions, well it was worth a laugh. I ended up losing a few hundred bucks, buying these so called systems and robots and then putting money up to trade them. After a few months of this losing streak I decided to do it the right way and start learning.
I went through forums and books, and finally started learning how the market moves and why prices go up someday and go down others. After a while I started seeing trends in the way prices moved. I kept reading and actually got a lot of help from the forums on forex4noobs.com
After a few years I started fixing my own strategies and some I stumbled upon.
My Trading Methods
I have a very specific trading method that I have used for a while and has worked very well.
I mostly try to setup my main trade once a week, just using price action and candle size. I try my best to stay away from fancy indicators and such, since they just clutter your screen.
I used to trade many currency pairs but have settled mostly on the GBP/JPY, since it offers great volatility and the spread isn’t too bad. I am reaching out to other pairs and will keep everyone updated.
Here is a quick ebook on the basics of trading the forex market and just the most basics steps any new trader should now.
Please look around the website and read as much as you can, this game we are in is about knowledge and trust me you can never have enough.
I have weekly posts about trades, entry points and starting videos and podcast on how to trade and be profitable.
Enjoy,
Gus FX
