End of the year and it was a great one…

Hey everyone well the year is almost over, I am done with this semester of college and I am done with this year of trading. It has definitely been an exciting ride and one I will never forget, 2009 will be unforgettable. Many things have happen in my life this year some good and some bad but overall I have learn many lessons and that is the important part.

This has by far been one of the most important years for me in trading, as many of you know I started my first real blog this year, GusForex.com, which has been very successful and has been receiving thousands of hits a month, something I am very proud off. Not only has my personal blog been successful but I was invited by Nick to be a guest blogger on his own site, something I just feel honored about. I am also working on a Facebook Page to have a one place stop for quick info with videos and updates of live trades through Twitter.

I know I am no Nick as he is more informed about the market and has traded the bulls and bears for much longer than I have, thus I do not try to imitate him. But I do try and learn form him in ways to help others as he has help me learn and many other traders across the globe have helped me. For anyone out there, the first step to becoming a better trader is not buying expensive robots or programs but going online and reading books and forums. One learns from other trades and by seeing what is going on live in the markets.

After all the ups and downs this year I do feel like I have settled on good strategies and do feel like next year should be even more profitable than this one. I have also gotten a lot of good feedback about the videos I have posted about my live trades which show my system and how it works, but I plan to make some better videos broken down into better steps showing how moving averages work and how news and days of the week can drastically affect your trading. MY hope is to show how blind trading methods leads to failure and everyone needs to understand how a system work in order to be profitable now and in the future.

I hope to not only expand other peoples knowledge but also my own, since I admit to not knowing everything. Every day is a learning experience and one needs to know that and make the most of it. As the year comes to and end I can only smile at how much I have accomplished this year and how much I have grown as a trader. I see my web site growing everyday and Forex4Noobs.com is becoming one of the big players in the Forex world.

So to keep this short or just not too long, thanks to everyone who has been there in the forums, in the blogs, just thank you. Without people contributing and coming to the sites this would not have been possible. 2010 will be a great year and I cannot wait to start it. I will be posting some things over the break including videos and ebooks to help with the over all aspect of my methods and ideas. I will also be updating my personal website to include a little more information about me and make it more accessible to users. This will allow users to create one account and have access to my Twitter account, Live Trade Videos, and daily newsletters. It is a bit overwhelming but I hope to be able to do it over the next two weeks.

Again thank you to everyone who reads the forums and blogs, and please do not hesitate to ask questions on the forums or blogs I love answering questions and helping anyone with anything I can. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
