GBP/JPY Daily Short Signal

Just took a look at my charts and saw a short sell signal on the GBP/JPY Daily chart.

Here is a quick screen shot showing all the indicators indicating a short sell signal.

  • Hi Gus,

I am really looking forward to trading these breakout systems. How do I subscribe to your blog/RSS feed? When I hit any of the links it shows a bunch of code.

    • You should be able to click on the subscribe to RSS on the top right corner. What web browser are you using, in Firefox it showed it no problem.

  • On the 4 hour break out beginning at 00:00 Sunday, if I don’t use an indicator, how is the trade taken. Ex: the first 4 hr candle closes and the 10 pip buffer is used for the high and low. Do I wait for the close of the next candle to see where it closes before entering? Or do I wait until the second candle approaches the up or down area of the first candle and enter? I do understand the stop loss and targets, it’s the entry I’m confused on. Those big pips are attractive. Keep up the good work.

    Ron

  • Hi Gus!

Thanks for sharing your systems! :-)

    4H Breakout Strategy Question –

I have the same question as Ronald as I’m not sure about the exact entries (orders).

I know you said that the close of the 00:00 strategy would be signal to sell or buy and then adding a 5-20 pip buffer, but I’m not sure what that means exactly as far placing the long or short positions. Are you placing pending orders?

If you can please clarify, how you exactly placing these trades it would be greatly appreciated. If you could give me/us an example of this strategy by using G/U 4H chart on IBFX (this week), I would be very greatful – if possible.

    Thanks again!
